Shallow porcelain bowl, surprisingly thick in cross-section, with a refining bevelled edge and a pale celadon craquelature glaze, almost grey in some lights, a pale blue in others. (The images seem too blue at first glance but show the delicacy of the colouring in the larger view.)

Impressed on the edge of the glaze with a fernleaf and also incised on the base 'S Black 03'.

4 cm high and 19 cm in diameter.

Bought new and in excellent condition.
