Tall straight-sided stoneware jug with manganese glaze above the handle and inside, separated by a band of grey from a dry dark green glaze. There is a a light speckling in the clay from iron particles in the body.

Impressed on side of base with the proto-Broomhill Pottery seal used by Greenaway from 1973-1975.

20cm high and 9 cm in diameter (16 cm with handle and pouring lip).

In good condition, with a small amount of missing glaze on the handle.
