Deep-sided bowl tapering to a small base, with finely crazed white glaze in a raku nu style, inside and out. A thin ring around the base reveals the white stoneware clay body. The crazing is relaxed in a band around the widest part of the body, with fine tendrils at the rim and denser crazing at the base and inside.

Impressed mark 'IC' on base obscured by the glaze.

12.5 cm high and 15.5 cm in diameter.

Bought new and in excellent condition.
