Ken Hovenden

As well as working at Bendigo Pottery from April 1972, Ken Hovenden was one of the potters involved in the Lillydale Pottery venture. He was also at Cannie Ridge Pottery for a time as he exhibited work there in 1979. In the 1980s, he set up his own pottery at Malmsbury and sold his work through Bangles Gallery at Cobargo. From late 1988 to 1997, he worked under the business name Shiloh Pottery in Castlemaine. Marks used include KH on Bendigo Pottery Epsom Ware, Kevin Hovenden on Badger Creek Pottery, KH on Lillydale Pottery and his own impressed KH initials.
