Edith Verran

Edith Verran is a potter from Albany, WA. She has an entry in the 1982 directory , at which time she had been potting for 10 years and teaching part-time for various organisations. She made wheel-thrown functional pots, including tableware and crystalline-glazed porcelain, and also worked in raku, earthenware, midfire and salt-glazing. Her mark is given as an incised 'EV' and she also used an impressed 'Edith Verran' and 'Edith Verran Albany'. She was still practicing in Albany as a potter in 2009 according to the Southern Art and Craft Trail for that year.
