June Lord

June Lord trained for two years at St George Technical College then completed the Ceramics Certificate course at East Sydney Technical College before setting up her studio at Lugarno, NSW. Her specialisation was stoneware slab and handbuilt forms, murals and architectural ceramics. She taught at the Potters' Society school and also at the Gymea and St George Technical colleges. She has entries in the 1973-1981, 1986 and 1988 directories where her marks are recorded as a cursive 'June Lord', an impressed 'JL' in a circle and an impressed 'JLP' in a circle for June Lord Pottery.
