Graham Horne

Graham Horne is a potter active in the 1980s / 1990s in South Australia. His work features white stoneware tableware with white glazes and colourful hand-painted decoration incorporating Australian animals - koalas, kangaroos, etc. - either hand-painted or in high relief as handles. An advertisement in Craft Arts International (no. 27, 1993, p. 20) for marble ceramics directs enquiries to Dingo Clay at a Mount Barker, SA, address. The business name Dingo Clay was registered in 1990. For the marble ceramics line, he collaborated with textile designers Bridget Gardiner and Brian O'Malley. Works may be marked 'Graham Horne' (incised) or 'Dingo Clay Australia'.
