Leonard's Bridge Pottery

Leonard's Bridge Pottery was established by Adrian McMillan in 1980. The main facility was in Ballarat but some work was also made in Blackburn in Melbourne. At its peak the pottery had a total staff of around 40 and a thriving wholesale business. In 1984, McMillan sold the pottery to Vitclay but continued to work there as manager until the pottery was closed in 1988. Work made at Ballarat is impressed 'Leonard's Bridge Pottery Ballarat' or 'Leonard's Bridge Pottery Ballarat Australia'. Work made at Blackburn is impressed 'Leonard's Bridge Pottery'.
