James Hall

James Hall has entries in the 1964, 1973 and 1977 directories where he is based at Kiama, NSW, making partially-glazed once-fired stoneware from local clays, with some later pieces allied with hand-forged wrought iron work. He studied at the Wollongong Technical College, held his first solo exhibition at the Keller Restaurant, Wollongong in 1964 and taught ceramics during the 1970s at Wollongong, Nowra and Dapto technical colleges. His work is marked with an impressed 'JH'.
