Lorna Schafferius has an entry in the 1982 potters' directory and also in the special Queensland edition of Pottery in Australia, 25/1, 1986, p. 64. A primary school teacher based in Gympie, she began potting through adult education classes in 1972, and gave up full-time work to spend more time with clay in 1976. In 1982, she was president of the Wide Bay and Burnett Potters' Association and teaching at TAFE and weekend schools. Her mark is an impressed 'LS'.
