Cath Wyllie is a Tasmanian potter based at the Tin Shed Pottery (formerly the Ceramic 5 Studio) in Launceston, Tasmania. She began working at the Tin Shed in 1995, when it was still owned by Catherine Batten and Therese van der Aa. In 2003, she entered into partnership with Fenwick Makepeace and Jilli Spencer to buy it so that it could have a continued, invigorated, life as a workspace for resident artists and a home for the Tasmanian Potter's Society, Northern Branch. Wyllie specialises in crystalline glazes and marks her works with an incised signature.
