Evelyn and Nick Riphagen were production potters based in Maryborough, Queensland, now retired. They began potting in the 1980s, signing their work with an incised 'Evelyn Nick', then moving to an impressed stamp. They exhibited widely in galleries along the Queensland coast, conducted workshops throughout Queensland, and developed a range of stoneware glazes in shades of red, blue and purple. In 2010, their work was featured in an exhibition at the Hervey Bay Regional Gallery celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Wide Bay Burnett Potters Association.
