Elodie Barker (1973- ) was born in Adelaide. She holds a certificate in Visual Art from the O'Halloran Hill TAFE obtained in 1991, and a degree in Ceramic and Glass Design from the University of South Australia obtained in 1995. After working as a Jam Factory Associate from 1996-1998, she set up her own studio in Port Noarlunga, SA, in 2001, and became a Jam Factory Access Tenant in 2004. She specialises in quirky functional ware and sculptural ceramics, primarily dogs and chickens, using various colours, clays and glazes. She has exhibited widely and received a number of awards and grants. She signs her work 'Australia Elodie Barker'.
